United for Better Futures (UBF) is a youth-led advocacy coalition in
Aurora, Colorado, working through Aurora Partners for Thriving Youth.

UBF focuses on issues that directly affect young people in Aurora, with an emphasis on youth health, prevention, advocacy, and community change.
Members work together to:

around youth vaping
and tobacco access
Advocate for
healthier schools
and neighborhoods
Bring youth
perspectives into community decisions
Build leadership, confidence, and youth advocacy skills
Create campaigns that speak to young people, not at them
Give young people a stronger voice in shaping Aurora’s future

UBF members don’t just participate in conversations. They help lead them.
The coalition has been involved in local advocacy efforts around youth tobacco prevention, including support for Aurora’s Tobacco Retail License ordinance, helping bring youth voices into policy conversations that affect schools and neighborhoods.
