This course will assist adults who work with and care for youth to use safe internet practices.

Juvenile Justice 101 will review questions that every parent should know the answers to when it comes to their children and the juvenile justice system.

Parents have an opportunity to understand what behaviors might indicate their young person may need additional support.

Facts about current trends and health risks associated with vaping. We will also discuss what we can do about it in our communities.

An overview of what Trauma-Informed Care is and how caregivers can be more cognizant of utilizing trauma-Informed practices with youth.

The lesson provides teens with the science and stories to understand the risks of misusing prescription drugs, and the tools and resources to manage their own health. 

Learn to intentionally partner between youth and caregivers, where young people are involved in all parts of the community.

Positive Youth Development (PYD) is a lens of how we look at our young people in a way that empowers youth to become community leaders.

This course will help give you the basics to understanding how to access health insurance and provide the resources you need to navigate it all.

This course is for families new to the Aurora CO Public School (APS) system or who wants to learn more about the support, resources, and services available.

​

Terminology, Methods of Use, Current trends, Health Impacts, Laws in Colorado and Responsible Use vs. Misuse will be addressed.

Basic 101 info to give to parents about how to approach their teen with substance misuse or suspected substance misuse.
