EMPOWERING
AURORA'S YOUTH,
TOGETHER.
Partnering with families, schools, and community leaders to deliver youth programs and substance use prevention efforts that help teens in Aurora grow, thrive, and lead healthier lives.
Leadership starts early. We provide tools, guidance, and real opportunities for youth to lead with purpose and make a difference in their communities.
We believe every young person deserves to be heard. Through mentorship, education, and support, we help youth speak up, show up, and shine.
Thriving youth need strong support systems. We bring families, schools, and local partners together to build a healthier, more connected Aurora.
WE DID IT!!!
On Feb. 23, 2026, Aurora City Council unanimously approved the creation of a Tobacco Retail License. This new policy will require businesses selling tobacco and other psychoactive products to obtain a local license and meet compliance requirements. This is an important step toward reducing youth access and supporting a healthier community.
This would not have been possible without our incredible partners. A special thank you to:
Adam County Health Department - Arapahoe County Health Department-City of Aurora Licensing Department-Colorado Black Health Collaborative-Center for Public Health Practice & Colorado School of Public Health-Mile High Behavioral Healthcare-The student leaders of United for Better Futures
…and the many other community organizations and individuals who registered support, reached out to council members, made public comments, and helped move this forward.
This was truly a community effort, and we’re grateful for everyone who played a role.
