6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Deciding to get mental health services can be very difficult for you or your children, finding the right therapist who accepts your insurance is even more difficult. This course will help give you the basics to understanding how to access health insurance (Medicaid or private insurance), learning about what types of services can be utilized and paid for through health insurance, and how to connect with those services. Some basic tools will be provided to help determine when it’s appropriate to get referrals for specialized care, and you will also get resources for when you need some help navigating it all.
